Q. What savings can I typically expect by
using Angel?
A. At Angel we are keen not to be seen as merely “cheap”, but rather as
providers of a high value service for a fair price. Typically you might
also save between 30% and 50% of High Street Accountant charges. Please
ask us for a quote. We seek only limited information.
Q. How can Angel deliver such value?
A. By focusing on a particular industry Angel enjoys significant
economies of scale from volume ‘repeat’ processing.
All our work is undertaken by fully qualified, experienced and trained
staff. Angel carries a full professional indemnity policy.
Q. How can I be sure my business
information will be kept private and confidential?
A. The security of our clients’ data is of paramount importance to us.
We have implemented sound quality programmes to protect our clients and
ourselves. In addition, we have ensured that our partners have similar
robust programmes in place. We restrict the flow of financial
information on a need to know basis, (for example, if you request that
AVN accountants review your personal or business performance with you).
Q. Am I paying a lot extra to receive
regular Management Information?
A. No extra charge is made for this service. The Angel management
information system, coupled with a Venners regular stock take and
contact from an AVN accountant, gives you the fullest control you could
need for your business. All businesses have associated risks. You
probably take commercial decisions several times a day. Without having
key financial information available to tell you the overall effects such
decisions are having on the business is akin to driving at speed in the
dark and without lights.
Q, Do you make frequent back-ups of
business data?
A. Yes-daily.
Q. Do we have to use the business coach
service.
A. We believe that this is a cost effective and highly valuable service.
You may have certain skills which negate the requirement and of course
we will value any client relationship.
Q. Who will deal with any queries I have on
a day-to-day basis? Will I have to go through a call centre? How can I
be sure that the person I speak to will understand my business?
A. You will be allocated a relationship manager from day one.
We have real people to answer the telephone here.! It is their job to
ensure that they put you in touch with someone able to give you a reply
to your query. As specialists in the hospitality and leisure sector we
are able to deal with all your accounting issues.
Q. When you quote me a fixed fee, can I be
sure there will not be any hidden extras at some future point?
A. Our fixed fee is specific to the services we provide and is covered
by a detailed service level agreement. If you ask us to undertake work
which falls outside of that agreement then a fee may be charged.
Q. My business has some operations overseas
- can Angel support me on an international basis?
A. Angel has, via the interests of the directors, representation with
accountancy firms in every continent in the World, and in most countries
with significant commercial interests.
Q. My time is valuable, how quickly can you
deliver your services?
A. Our turn around time is also covered in the service level agreement.
By way of example, once our queries have been resolved we would deliver
a full set of accounts to you within fifteen working days. Your monthly
accounts are available within ten working days.
Q. I have my own stock-taker, do I have to
switch to Venners.
A. No, We are impressed with Venners stock control systems and the
information provided but recognise that other strong relationships
exist.
